Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and NaomiStudy ("we") for the use of NaomiStudy. By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Who can use it

For now you must be 18 or older to create an account. A flow for users under 18 with parent or guardian consent is in preparation.

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in safe, and use one account per person. You are responsible for activity on your account.

3. What the service is, and what it is not

NaomiStudy is an AI teacher: Naomi checks what you have not mastered yet with a few questions, builds a study plan, then teaches those parts one at a time. It is a study aid. NaomiStudy is not an accredited institution, not a full tutoring programme, and is not affiliated with any university, the Indonesian civil service agency (BKN), or any exam organiser.

Naomi is an AI, and AI can be wrong. Explanations, diagrams, quizzes and grades are generated automatically, so double-check anything important against official material or your lecturer. We do not guarantee any grade, pass, or exam result.

We keep improving the service. Features may change, and we may set fair-use limits so the service stays smooth for everyone.

4. Free use and exam passes

You can try one exam for free until your first topic is complete. After that, you need an exam pass to keep learning for that exam.

• An exam pass is a one-time payment in Rupiah through Xendit (for example QRIS, e-wallets or virtual accounts). The price is shown before you pay. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
• A pass covers one exam (one learning space) and cannot be moved to another exam or another account.
• Validity: until the end of day 3 after your exam date (Western Indonesia Time). If no exam date is set, or it has passed when you pay, the pass runs for 30 days from payment. If you later set or move the exam date later, the pass is extended, but never beyond 120 days from payment and never shorter than what you bought.
• Promo codes follow their own conditions (for example an end date or a usage limit) and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Pro subscription (US dollars)

Pro is billed through Polar in US dollars every month until you cancel. Prices and any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.

You can cancel at any time in Settings → Manage subscription. Pro access continues until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds for Pro follow Polar's policy and any consumer rights that apply to you.

If a payment fails and stays unpaid, we may pause Pro features until it is settled.

6. Exam pass refunds

If you are not satisfied with an exam pass, you can ask for your money back within 7 days of payment. Contact us at support@naomistudy.com with your account email and the time or ID of the transaction.

Refunds are handled manually. We return the money through the original payment method where possible, or by transfer to a bank account or e-wallet in your name. The pass stops working when the refund is processed. How long the money takes to arrive depends on the payment provider.

If you want a refund and also want to delete your account, contact us before deleting the account so we can find your transaction easily.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not upload material you have no right to share, or content that is unlawful, pornographic, violent, hateful, or contains other people's personal data without permission.
• Do not use NaomiStudy to cheat, for example during a running exam, or to break the rules of your university or exam organiser.
• Do not scrape the service, reverse engineer, disrupt or try to break into our systems, and do not resell or share accounts.

8. Your content

Your materials, notes and answers remain yours. You give us a limited permission to store and process that content only to run the service for you, for example by sending it to AI model providers so a lesson can be made. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm you have the right to upload everything you upload. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

9. Our content

The product, its design, the brand, and the teaching content we create for the service belong to us. You may use the explanations and quizzes Naomi makes for your own learning, but not resell them.

10. Deleting your account and termination

You can stop at any time and delete your account yourself in Settings → Delete account. What is deleted and what is kept (such as transaction records for tax) is explained in the Privacy Policy. Any exam pass still active ends when the account is deleted. If your Pro subscription will still renew, cancel it before deleting the account.

We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms or if the law requires it. If the service is discontinued, we will give reasonable notice first.

11. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but cannot guarantee it is always available or that AI-generated content is always correct and complete.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms removes your rights as a consumer under Indonesian law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Important changes are announced in the app before they take effect. If you keep using NaomiStudy after a change takes effect, you accept the new version.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. If something goes wrong, contact us first so we can settle it amicably. If that does not work, you can still use consumer dispute settlement or the courts in Indonesia under the applicable law.

These terms are available in Indonesian and English. If the two differ in meaning, the Indonesian version prevails.
